When should I use Flux vs other image skills?

Use Flux when you need advanced context-aware editing (kontext mode). For general generation, Nano Banana is faster. For text in images, GPT Image is better.

How to Use

Step 1

Request Flux explicitly

Say "use flux" or "generate with flux". Flux is explicit-only — the assistant won't use it by default.

Step 2

Kontext editing

Send an image and say "kontext edit" or "use flux kontext" followed by your edit instruction. This is the most advanced edit mode.

Command Examples

You say:

Use flux kontext: remove the person from this beach photo and fill naturally

Assistant responds:

Generating with Flux Kontext (context-aware removal)... MEDIA:beach-edited.png
