You add funds to your account (minimum $3, no maximum). When your assistant uses services — LLM calls, image generation, search, etc. — the real provider cost plus 7.5% service fee is deducted from your balance. Your deposit never expires.
By default, Amplify manages all AI model access for you — your deposit covers everything. If you prefer, you can connect your own OpenAI account (BYOK option). With BYOK, your LLM costs are billed directly by OpenAI, and your Amplify deposit covers only non-LLM services (media, search, tools). Same $9.99 platform fee either way.
