Record voice channel sessions, transcribe conversations, and build searchable audio archives
Discord Voice adds recording and transcription to your Discord voice channels. The bot joins a voice channel, records the session, and produces a transcript with speaker attribution. All participants are notified when recording starts and stops — transparency first.
Record voice meetings and get automatic transcripts without third-party tools
Record AMAs, Q&A sessions, and community events for members who couldn't attend
Capture training sessions and onboarding calls with searchable transcripts
Maintain audio records of important discussions with full transparency and consent
Ask the assistant to record a specific voice channel — 'Record the next meeting in #voice-chat'. The bot joins and announces that recording has started.
All participants are notified when recording starts. This is automatic and cannot be disabled.
When the session ends (or you ask to stop), the bot announces recording is complete and delivers the audio file plus transcript.
Transcripts include speaker labels and timestamps. Ask the assistant to summarize the session or find specific topics discussed.
For enhanced speaker diarization, the transcript can be processed through the Transcribee skill.
Record the next team meeting in #voice-chat
Recording enabled for #voice-chat. I'll join when a session starts, announce recording, and provide transcript when it ends.
