Frequently asked questions

The Gmail account you connect via Google OAuth, at read and compose scopes. It reads the threads you ask about and drops replies into your Gmail drafts folder. It doesn't attempt other Google services from this connection.

Gemini lives inside the Gmail UI. Amplify works from the chat you're already in (Slack, Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord) and links Gmail to Calendar, Notion, and Drive so a reply drafted in chat can also block time on your calendar or drop notes in Notion.

Reading and drafting are automatic when you ask. Sending is not. Every reply lands as a Gmail draft for you to review and hit send.

It won't send mail on your behalf without you saying send. It won't set up filters, forwarding, or auto-replies. It doesn't monitor mail in the background. It reads when you ask.

Gmail readonly and Gmail compose. Read lets it pull the threads you ask about; compose lets it drop drafts in your drafts folder. Send is not requested.
